I mentioned before that I like to pack early. There's still two and a half weeks left before I leave, and I'm almost done packing! Since I've just been lazying around my parent's house all day I have plenty of extra time to write on this blog.
I'll be in Korea for approximately 5-6 months, so I'm packing one month's worth of summer clothes and the rest will be fall/winter clothes. I'm allowed two checked suitcases and a carry-on, but I'm only filling up one of the checked ones and the carry on. I'll fill the other one on my way back.
Clothes I'm packing:
Tops: 5 printed sweatshirts, 5 dressy button up shirts, 5 t-shirts, 2 dressy shirts, 5 undershirts(strapless and long sleeve)
Bottoms: 2 pairs of jeans, black skinny pants, 2 pairs of slacks(in black and white), sweatpants, 3 pairs of shorts
Dresses: 2 summer dresses, 1 semi-casual? dress, 1 overall dress
Outerwear: 1 blazer coat, 1 blazer, 1 sherpa jacket, 1 weatherproof winter jacket
Shoes: 2 pairs of flats, walking shoes, running shoes, sandals, platform sandals, and 2 pairs of boots
and enough underwear to last me for 2 weeks.
Other things:
a bed sheet set, pillow, towel, 2 belts, 2 hats, misc. toiletries, and snacks to remind me of home
Here are some of the things I packed.
I'm a Large size in the US, so it's a bit hard to find clothes that fit me in small shops/subway stations. If I need to buy anymore clothes I can usually find my size at stores like Uniqlo, H&M, forever21.
